Income

According to data reported in the 2009 Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) survey, the average hourly wage for legal secretaries in Orange County is $20.89/hr.  Top earners make more than $25 per hour!   That is more than $50,000/yr!

Of course, unless you have prior experience you will probably start out at a lower rate.  Most of our graduates with no prior experience earn around $13/hr in their first position, but over time as you gain more experience and demonstrate your skills, you can expect your salary to increase; that is one of the important differences between a “job” and a career!
