Medical Assistant
Our Medical Assistant program is designed to teach you basic administrative and clinical skills that you can use to perform front- and back-office duties in Healthcare institutions, both small and large offices alike. Whether you’re taking vital signs, filing patient insurance forms, updating medical records or greeting patients, as a Career-College-of-California-trained Medical Assistant, you’ll have the necessary skills to keep the practice you’re working in running smoothly. And chances are, you’ll also have the opportunity to train on the job and learn to further specialize in specific Medical Assistant duties.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, Healthcare industry expansion, technological advances, population growth and aging are increasing the demand for support personnel. As a formally trained Medical Assistant who can manage administrative and clinical tasks, your job prospects are excellent!
