Responsible for providing quality education to students through well prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair and holistic assessment of learning, clear documentation of student progress, and support of the academic success for at-risk students. CCC has a Philosophy of quality verses quantity focusing on creating a “team” atmosphere.
Required Skills:
Strong organizational skills, with proficiency in both Word and Outlook
Expertise in interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills, as demonstrated by: diplomas, degrees, transcripts, certifications, CVs/Resumes, and in person interview.
Experience Required:
Medical Assisting Diploma required. Graduation from an Accredited Medical Assisting Program or an otherwise recognized training entity (e.g., hospital-based program) in the specialty field or subject area. Must have a Minimum of 2 years of occupational (i.e., practical) experience in Medical Assisting. RMA or CMA preferred. Teaching Credential a plus, but not required 2 Positions are available. (1) Candidate/Applicant must be Bilingual/Spanish and (1) Candidate/Applicant Bilingual/Spanish preferred but not necessary. Candidate must have Current CPR — BLS/for HCP Provider and Instructor Certification.

To be responsive to the needs and potential of our community, we are excited about developing an ESL program with a vocational focus. We are seeking a seasoned, passionate and entrepreneurial ESL instructor with curriculum development and program management experience to develop, launch and teach the program.
We are interested in hearing from educators who have demonstrated skill with and who believe in teaching ESL content through hands-on practice of technical concepts. We are particularly enthusiastic about educators with backgrounds in teaching vocational English for Allied Health careers. We are looking for instructors with proven success with engaging adult students in interactive, learner-centered education that builds our students communication skills for their chosen careers. Finally, we also desire a Program Manager with an interest in devising a program that uses technology and digital media to enhance the classroom experience and student learning.
Beyond developing and launching the program, the position duties and responsibilities include:
- Teaching; evaluating and assigning grades to students
- Accurate and timely record keeping
- Advising students on performance and behavior
- Completion of all daily/weekly/monthly reports
Requirements and Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of adult ESL teaching experience.
- A BA/BS from a competitive college or university is required. A MA in TESOL or other relevant discipline is preferred.
- Must be creative and driven
- Demonstrated track record of success with excellent references
- Strong desire to help students achieve their goals and better their lives
- Exceptional communication skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Knowledge of the Orange County/Santa Ana community
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred
